Following the presentation, Pastors Gary and Rendie spoke over each student and presented them with a gift. This year, we celebrated the High School Graduation of Alisha Beaver and Tony Trapani, Mooresville Senior High; Sydney Lowe, Mooresville Christian Academy and Michael Roberts, Mitchell Community College.
Also, On Sunday June 13th, we celebrated the birthday of our own Pastor Gary Kolstad. Everyone took the opportunity to dress down for church and then gather at Edgemoor Park in Mooresville for food, fun, games and fellowship. We enjoyed a wonderful meal of hotdogs and hamburgers and all the fixin's. We also shared birthday cake with Pastor Gary. Despite the heat, everyone enjoyed the fellowship with each other during this annual tradition.

Tim Sutton Ministries
What a great time of ministry members enjoyed during March 10-14, when Tim Sutton, Tim Sutton Ministries International, came to Freedom Christian Center to minister to members and the community. Brother Tim's message to all who attended centered on the Word that Jesus went to the streets to share His love, encouragement and good news to all who would listen. We were challenged to go where the people were. His ministry in song, accomplished trumpeting and use of video all contributed to his powerful message.
The highlight of the event came on Saturday March 13th, when members travelled to Piedmont Pointe apartments and conducted an outreach for the residents. Free toys, giveaways, music, testimonies and free hotdog lunch all contributed to our showing the love of Jesus to the approximately 130 who attended. We were blessed to be a blessing to our neighbors!

A wonderful meal featuring a choice of Bruschetta chicken, roast beef, baked potato, salad, roll, dessert and tea was served. All of our participating youth served the guests throughout the meal. Children enjoyed pizza and beverages separately, giving parents an opportunity to relax during the meal.
Following dinner, we enjoyed 4 couples as they competed to win the title as grand prize winner. Hosted by Bob "Tommy Bowles" Eubanks, couples John & Ellen Dubois, Talmadge & Erica Frontis, James & Susan Wilson and Robert & Kenya Harris were presented a battery of questions directed at both the husbands and the wives.
