Committing to Purity
On Sunday Nov. 20th, 6 youth from Freedom Christian Center made the commitment to sign the Purity Pledge following weeks of studying regarding what God desires in regard to sexual purity. The teens were joined by their parents/grandparents during a wonderful ceremony.

Youth travelled to Mountain City, TN on Saturday Dec. 17th to help with the Old Mill Ministries Christmas Celebration. Much of their work involved sorting through mountains of clothing, so that individuals could go through and take was was needed for their families. They also helped with serving and clean-up. This is the 4th year of the outreach, and the FCC youth have helped at each one.

It is the mission of Freedom Christian Center of Mooresville Youth program to develop Godly youth making a difference for Christ; in their families, their community, and the larger world around them. We will achieve this mission by developing strong personal relationships with God and with each other. Through sound biblical doctrine, the youth of FCC Mooresville will learn to minister to the lost and bring them to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, while strengthening each other and their families.

The youth of Freedom Christian Center meet Sunday evenings at the church at 6:30PM. Meals are often provided by various church members at the evening meetings. Following a time of recreation, youth leader, Jill Lowe, leads the students in a Bible Study or a relevant discussion of todays topics. Parents help plan a variety of activities, trips and outreach events. You can always find the youth giving their time at all church activities.
